I have this camera and it shoots great video. I think this and the 1D X are the only two canon full frame dslrs that can shoot in 4k but that one's like $5300 bucks or something. If all you're shooting is video you might want to look into a more dedicated video camera system though.

Please try again later.In Short - Yes - and it does it amazingly (just to confirm again - one is using Canon 5D mark IV) The 5D mark III had an issue with video making and keeping subject in focus (even with Auto focus on) was a struggle. But with mark IV - Canon has nailed it and could have not done it better. The low light performance is superb. I recently did some new year Celebration pictures & family video using a tripod & i can honesty agree ::: The results are amazing. The Auto focus worked perfect.
