All Canon lenses that are designated either EF or EF-S fit this camera. The rear of the lens is a bayonet mount that fits the front of the camera. I own this camera and several lenses. The 67mm lens thread you mention, is for filters on the front of the lens. Nothing to do lenses fitting the camera. Each lens has its own size for filters. It will say right on the front face of the lens like 67mm.
