The lens that comes with the camera is 15-45mm. You may use another lens, but It has to be the same mount. This camera is an ef-m mount and is only compatible with that kind unless you use an adapter to put on for any other lens.

This kit comes with a 15-45mm lens, which provides a good amount of zoom capabilities and the lens has image stabilization built-in, so that will create cleaner, crisper shots while zoomed in on a subject. There will be no digital zoom (can be done after you transfer the images to your computer for editing), which is commonly used on smartphones and point-and-shoot cameras. If you find yourself requiring more zoom, the EF-M lens system has native lenses and you can use an adapter to open up Canon's EF and EF-S lenses, providing an enormous amount of options (an an expansive catalog of older, used, and refurbished lenses available).
