I'm not aware of any computers that have a slot to accept a CFexpress card. So you would need either a CFexpress card reader to plug into your computer or just connect the camera to your computer to transfer images from the card.

If you're just taking pictures, an SD card should be just fine. It's only when you get into large video sizes that a CFexpress card becomes useful. You can set your image file to Jpeg or Raw and transfer them to your computer with the SD card (as long as you have an SD card reader).

You will need a reader if you use the express card it won’t fit into the computer slots that you currently have
