“How good is the video footage? I'm going to buy this camera but I also want a camcorder to record my sons soccer and football games. To those of you who have used the video feature, do you think it would be sufficient enough to record soccer/football games or should I also invest in a camcorder as well? Thank you.”

I used this camera to record a church function and also a small wedding inside someone's home. All went nicely. That's probably because I was very close to the subjects I was recording. No blurriness at all. Very clear. The audio was fantastic as well. My 16 GB Class 10 SD card filled up pretty quickly and began to lag so I purchased a 64 GB Class 10 card. I also intend to purchase the 256 GB Class 10. I'd say that the video is great if you intend on using in close quarters, but not if you wish to shoot from a distance.
