“When I turned on my printer, I get an error message saying Cart.Comm. Error - A counterfeit or non-Canon cartridge may be in use. But I'm using the cartridge it came with. Also, I can't get it to connect wirelessly. Suggestions?”

Hold Stop button (circle w/triangle inside) for 15 seconds. Don't be impatient. 15 s-s-e-e-c-c-o-o-n-n-d-d-s-s-! I work in I.T. I know you're gonna be impatient. Don't. I tell end users to wait 30 seconds for something, they wait 10, a quick 10 count and then say, "deeuuuhhh, you don't know what you're talking about, this didn't work after 30 seconds deeuuuhhh!" I go in and stare at them blankly while I wait an *actual* 30 seconds and boom, poof, freaken miracle, problem solved... Anyway 15 seconds will clear non-canon issue. If you can't get it to connect wirelessly without giving any description of what you tried/haven't tried then the only suggestion we can give is to plug it in via USB. Deeuuuhhh!
