If by VoIP you mean lines provided by your cable company, yes. I've not tested, but Vonage may also work. If you mean Asterisk or something similar, it depends on your configuration. I've had other Canon MF devices work in the past, but not since we had to rebuild from scratch and the settings to make faxes work at all changed (not Canon's fault on that).
