Yes, it will scan over wi-fi. A USB cable is not required.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It can scan on a Wireless or Ethernet connection. You should always test the Scanner first to become familiar with its function and default properties. I use the Microsoft Windows application because it is available without downloading any other Scanning application. Canon Scan works just as well but I did not need it.
