No reduction / enlargement in the machine that I can tell. That could probably be done manually using MS word, or a photo editing program. It does have a stitch function where you can take a document larger than 8-1/2 x 11, scan it in multiple areas, and it will put them together (or so it says in the scan program - I have not used it yet).
