“Does this printer have a sleep function that can be woken up to print from a distance? My office is in an adjoining apartment so it is nice to be able to print without leaving my home apartment and going outside. Thanks!”

will go to sleep mode once no one is using it and turns on as soon as you send documents to print.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. After a print, it will hum for 20 or 30 seconds then go to sleep. Sending another print later just wakes it up. This printer was a big upgrade for us and there is a bit of setup that is not terrible. The first few prints I seemed to have to tell it which size paper to use on its touch screen; I must have figured out how to save that information, and printing has been seamless since.
