• You have to set it up on the touchscreen in the scanner menu.

• Unfortunately it won't do 2 sided scanning. I found out the hard way as well this only works on the MF665Cdw. From the Canon MF663Cdw manual: When scanning a 2-sided original, place the original on the feeder, and set [2-Sided Original].* This setting is available only for MF665Cdw.
