“Hello, I connected to my network during initial setup and successfully printed a document from my phone, Now my phone does not detect the printer. The menu is not intuitive.I cannot determine if the printer is (still) connected to my home WiFi.”

make sure you have the proper apps installed on your phone; I use canon business print. I also have the Mopria app installed. I had an issue at first as well and that was why i downloaded the two apps I mentioned. Plus sometimes it takes a few seconds to recognize the printer depending on wifi speed. Also make sure your wifi is on and you are on the same one as the printer.
