“Anyone have experience using off-brand toner cartridges, and if so, any problems? Can off-brand toner be used?”

• I mistakenly ordered refurbished/compatible toners from Amazon and returned them for refund. If I use other than Canon brand toners and had a mishap, this would negate the 4-year warranty included with my purchase. True Canon toners cost more, but I believe worth every penny.

• Not a good choice. The printer shows warning that standard cannon cartridges are not used. Also the non standard cartridges ran out pretty fast, The cartridges are pretty expensive. Cannon should make some enhancements to lower the cost.
