“I don't print often, maybe once or twice a month. How long does it take for the ink to dry out? My current inkjet (not a mega tank printer) dries out quickly if not used often. Laser printers are still a bit pricey and don't print photos well.”

The printers that use bottles of ink do not have the ink evaporation issue. We have had an Epson printer (Ecotank) and in 4 years replaced ink once. Pretty good... i have needed to run the head cleaning utility seval times but with so much ink in the printer thats not much of an issue. With other printers aligning and cleaning print heads took a lot of ink from the cartridges... a very expensive issue. Not an issue with tank printers.
