It does not do dual printing automatically. It will guide you through printing the odd pages, and then turning the paper to print the even pages. How many copies of black or color per bottle? Well, that all depends on how much you print per page. From what I've read, you should be able to get 5000 - 7000 pages on either black and white or color pages. By the time you use all the ink that comes with the printer, the cost of the ink and the printer will be less than just the cartridges to print that many pages with most other printers. After that, you'll be printing for maybe a penny's worth of ink per page.

Please try again later.I do not have this printer but I noticed when I read the info below in the description that it does say it DOES do automatic double sided printing (which is a make or break feature for me) and the person who answered the question said that it does not. So can someone clarify? I can not imagine that cannon would go through all this trouble and then not have automatic duplex printing so I am assuming the person who answered was mistaken.
