• Haven’t actually tried it, but in Word and Excel, if you select legal paper in page setup, the print preview shows a legal size view. I would think the printer relies on the software settings. Hopefully this helps

• Yes, you can print legal size documents on this printer. The paper tray has the ability to expand out to accommodate the size.
