The depth, front to back, is 13 inches, PLUS the cable to the PC sticks out the back another 1.5 inches. The bottom is pretty flat. There are no real "legs," just some plastic that protrudes down about 1/16" - 1/8", so the printer can hang over the front edge of a shelf without any problem. The power cord is in the back-left corner, but is recessed and plugs in sideways, so it does not add to the width or depth.
