A:Answer No. Simple printer, not expensive. It comes with a short cord to connect to my laptop. I can also pick up the lid and print this way. I like it because I had another one like it for ten years. It has a quirk. When I change the printer ink and print from the internet, I get a message that the area I put the ink in is out of alignment. It is not. I get a message that asks me if I want to print or I print anyway and it clears itself. It is easy to change the cartridge, just open the exit door when the printer is on and it aligns in front of you. You press down the lever where the ink is and it comes right out. It works the same as the one I had before. I paid for the extended warrantee because UPS and shipping has a habit of tossing items around. For thirty dollars it does simple jobs and that is all I need to do. It makes very nice copies. For a student who needs to have school papers copied/printed out (homework), I think they would like this one, or for someone who like me, just wants copies of stuff. Also the colors are very nice when I copy recipes off the internet. I am always on the internet copying something. It works great with the Office 365 program which I have had for years. I think any Canon one buys are the best printers. Canon printers can get fancy as the price goes up, but they are usually reasonable priced for all they do.
