• The print tray has several settings and I think the photo quality is very good. You can get more detail from canon online user manual.

• Does excellent photo printing. Just make sure you choose correct paper in setup before printing. Dont know about custom envelopes

• It prints beautiful pictures on photo paper. It will also print custom size envelopes. Just use the upper tray and adjust the paper holders to size.
