“I currently have an Epson (which i hate) hence, the reason I'm looking for a new printer. With the Epson if one cartridge is empty it wants you to replace others that are half full. Does this printer require you to replace more than the empty cartridge”

No, it will just make you replace the cartridge that is empty/low. There are times when you can't print longer than what the printer is saying. I always check the cartridge to make sure it's empty. Often times I just hit "Ok" and get several more pages out of it. Hope this helps.

You only have to replace whichever ink cartridge is out. I have 3 printers and they are all Canon MX922 because it is by far the best wireless printer at a cheap price. You will absolutely love it.
