The difference between the 100 and the 100S is that the 100S has WiFi direct, which means you can print directly from your smartphone with the Canon app without the phone and the printer needing to be on the same existing wireless network. If you are only going to print from your phone, the 100S is a better purchase for you for convenience reasons. I do not think there is any difference in quality between the models, but I do not have first-hand experience with the 100S.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Pixma pro-1000 is a large format printer and greatly exceeds the printed image quality needed to print phone photos. Many smaller less expensive printers will do a great job of the phone pictures.
