From what I've read, these inks will last a long time. But they do not last the same length of archival time as, say, Epson inks. If you frame the prints behind UV glass, I would think the color and quality will outlast a couple generations. There are 8 cartridges. Magenta, Light Magenta, Cyan, Light Cyan, Yellow, Black, Gray, Light Gray .
