“Where do you load the blank paper for printing? Does it have a concealed tray or does it have to stick upright out the rear.”

Tray folds down in the front. The tray only protrudes about 4 1/2 inches because paper is stored half way under the printer. You can pull the tray out further and it clicks into another position to accommodate envelopes or larger paper.
