• Yes it gives you the option of setting up using USB or Wireless.

• I haven't tried. I would have to check the specs provided by Canon. Did you check the specs as stated in their review on the webpage? I don't intend to use a USB cable so I haven't check. I'm not much help with this. Go to the Geek Squad Chat room. They will give the right answer, unlike me. Sorry.
