• A:Answer The Canon PIXMA TR8520 ink jet printer can only connect wirelessly using 2.4GHz connection. It does NOT support a 5GHz connection. Please refer to https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Wireless-Networking/Pixma-TR8520-and-connecting-to-2-4ghz/td-p/289760 Even if it could connect at 5GHz, I don't see what you would gain since the connection is so much faster than the printer.

• A:Answer YES, the Canon PIXMA TR8520 ink jet printer can be put into "Landscape" mode before you print via the "Printing Preferences" option. Of course, it can be controlled from a word processor to automatically print mixed portrait and landscape documents. Before the print job is submitted, you can make other selections such as simplex, duplex, etc.
