"If" your chrome book is your only computer on your network, it won't work over wi-fi, it needs to be physically connected to 1 computer on your network, with that computer you can turn on the sharing function in the computer and share your printer with other computers on the same network - But remember the computer the printer is connected to via usb cable must be awake, and turn your printer on just before you go to print as it dose go to sleep/turn itself off when not in use.
