“Do you have to have an ink subscription to print? I have an HP printer that will only print if my subscription at $4.99 a month is kept up even if I don't need ink.”

I have owned Canon printers for many years. I have never had to have any ink subscription in order to print. So…..No….you do not have to have a subscription to print. Just keep a few extra cartridges on hand for when you do need ink.
