This printer is a few inches smaller than other Canon printers. It was designed for today's smaller office set-ups. The dimensions of the printer are given in the description. Check them out and then see if it will save you a few inches. Nothing earth shattering! I have about an inch of clearance on either side of the printer. However, it just fits the printer table, front to back. Table dimensions: 15.75 inches from left to right 11.81 inches from front to back Hope that helps.
