Yes, especially in black and white. In color, the fonts is not very sharp, but any images are very clear.

It does a wonderful job of printing letters, documents, and especially the print yourself greeting cards. The color photos are OK if you're not too critical about the quality. I would not call the prints "vivid." (See my review)
