“Does it take a picture instantly when you press the button, or does it have a delay?”

• I have had no lag time using this camera. I also use a high speed memory card rated a 90mb per second. I have found that most people who have any lag time with most any camera is they buy cheap memory cards that are slow and a slow card can create lag time in any camera.

• I think it is instant, but there are some other features where I think you can preset time delays
