Great. One has to experiment to find how to use best use low light settings. Once that is figured out, the pictures are great. I have some good inside pictures taken without flash, so the camera can be used in a museum. Because the flash has to be raised manually, one can't accidentally use the flash in a museum setting.

Although, my preference is day time shots, this makes a serious jump in ISO to insure the shot has no shake. There are several other toys you will be very impressed with. Imagine an Eagle coming in for a landing and you can shoot 20 megapixle shots at almost streaming rates, insuring that at least one or maybe 10 of the shots were perfect for what you needed - or an eagle catching a fish with rapid shot.
