“What is the difference between SX720 & SX730 and do they both shoot video.”

I own the 730. The 730 has wireless networking and Bluetooth capabilities as well as the hinged screen for video blogging or selfies. The hinged screen is also really nice since it works at any angle i can hold it up above a crowd of people, angle the screen so I can frame the picture, and get an unobstructed view or a higher angle perspective. Would also work from a selfie stick... But use it so you can get different angles while viewing the screen... They only limit is having to squint to see the screen!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.730 is named "ultra-compact" Where the 720 is just "compact. 730 is slightly thinner and yet it's also slightly heavier. View finder on 720 is "fixed" where as the 730 is not. I do not own either camera. Just researching differences, same as you. The Best Buy comparison fell short of helping me. The source for my answer came from a youtube video.
