- Answer You can connect the Cannon SX740 to a Tripod or Monopod. As far as I know you can't plug a microphone in.

- Answer I noticed that for a few months they disappeared, along with other similar cameras. I was told it was due to the chip shortage worldwide. Could be. However, they now seem to be available, although there has been a steep mark-up except at BestBuy.

- Answer It does take clear videos, but it can sometimes have like a motion blur. There is an action setting as well for recording fast movements.

- Answer Yes, it comes with a battery and charger! Only thing you need to buy separately is an SD card, and I chose to buy a case elsewhere to protect it.
