- Answer I think its excellent for vlogging as long as your not in windy weather because then it takes long for the camera to focus but other than that the camera is awesome I use it to record sports to make highlights

QuestionI'm concerned with lag time from when shutter is pressed and image is taken. I read one review where this was a problem on the SX740. I got rid of a Canon SureShot several years ago because of this very issue. Has anyone else experienced this?

- Answer I did not have trouble. Obviously it is not as fast as an SLR camera, but I had no problem in taking shots in the amount of time I desired.

QuestionThis camera was on Amazon for less money & it included accessories i.e. case, battery, tripod, memory card, etc. Two people had to return it and the camera wasn't under warranty because Canon said it shouldn't have been sold in the USA. Anyone experience?

- Answer No issues with my camera. I absolutely love it & I’m covered under Best Buy warranty if something happens. I can take it back & get a new one or put my money towards another camera. Amazon maybe cheaper but u will only get 30 days with them. Hope this helps

QuestionI’m having a Heck of a time getting my camera paired with my phone to transfer photos to phone from the phone.

- Answer Make sure you have the Canon Camera Connect app on your phone. Make sure both the phone and camera are connected to the same WiFi network. Once this is done, push the WiFi connect button on the camera. It will then search for devices. Once it discovers it, you select it and name it. From that point on it will automatically recognize your phone. It works great once it is connected. However, if your phone goes to sleep while connected, it will disconnect with the camera. The app MUST be open on your phone the whole time you are using it.

QuestionIs this camera waterproof or at least water resistant looking for a good vlogging camera that can be used at beaches, waterparks, etc? If not what is a good waterproof or resisant camera for volgging?

- Answer All Canon cameras stop recording at 29min 59 seconds. You can look this up but it is a European thing that any longer than that and it is considered a camcorder.

- Answer Yes. As long as you don't crop in post production, the amount of pixels and the optical zoom allow you print up to poster size, which is 36x24 inches.

QuestionWouldn't the pop up flash be in the way of the selfie screen?

- Answer The flash does pop up in front of the screen a little but it won't stop you from seeing the screen or show up in the picture because the selfie would still be taken with the lens.

- Answer It is the standard point and shoot camera size of 1/2.3 inch. It’s good for outdoor shooting in daylight, with tons of zoom. I attached a photo of the moon, taken handheld with this camera.

QuestionI plan to purchase the Canon PowerShot SX740 HS 20.3 I want to have a back up battery. Are the battery and the charger one unit or do I need to order them separately in order to have a back-up?

- Answer It comes with a plug in charger separated from the battery. I actually just went online and purchased a spare pair of batteries and they came with a corded charger that can sit on a table.

Questionhow long does it shoot 4k video. power and sd card limitation is not an issue.. On Canon's site it says specifically 60 minutes but I want to verify it is an hour total time, and not have to go back and hit record again after 15-30 minutes in.

- Answer After reading the manual online I found out that you can print date only, or time and date on the photo. Also dates and time cannot be removed for printing.

- Answer It does take sunset pictures according to a reviewer on here. Look under customer images and you'll see it. As for a sunset setting I'm not sure I suggest looking in the owners manual?
