Q: QuestionDoes the ink dry out if you don't print photos after a few weeks? About how many photos can 1 ink cartridge print?
Asked by momma83.
- A:Answer No, it doesn't dry out. I have gone months in between printing & it printed just as well as it did on Day 1. Most cartridges can print 108 4"x6" photos. If you print smaller photos, you can get so many more!

Q: QuestionWhat's the largest size to smallest size it will print? Can I scale pictures down to fit in like a keychain?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The software that comes with the printer when you set it up has different image sizes and styles of layout. It offers one print that looks like an ‘index’ sheet, (same size paper). You could cut the smaller size photos out of the print out. The stock and replacement size is 4” x 6”. I printed out at least 8 photos with the intro paper and ink. I took photos with my phone at an event and laid the photos out of people doing activities. The photos were stellar quality, and lots of people remarked how good they turned out. I’m glad I went with the printer instead of a Polaroid style camera.

Q: QuestionHow is this SELPHY different from the 1300 model?
Asked by Lisa.
- A:Answer Size, shape, features, price, types of USB connection used are all different between the two. The older CP1300 has a strip of buttons on top of the printer, it has a movable screen allowing you to change the viewing angle, it uses a USB 2.0 Type-A connector. Both use the same ribbon and paper options. There is a small premium for the Canon Selphy CP1500. The Canon Selphy CP1300 has a lower price. Both the Canon Selphy CP1500 and the Canon Selphy CP1300 have some of the same incredible features, like the same connection with Wi-Fi, SD card, and USB port; the same compatible ink and paper; the same 1.9-pound weight; and similar menus, among many other similarities. The Canon Selphy CP1300 comes equipped with a USB Type-A port, while the Canon Selphy CP1500 comes with a USB Type-C connector. The Canon Selphy CP1300 includes a greater number of additional buttons that provide direct access to a greater number of functionalities, whereas the Canon Selphy CP1500 has a smaller number of buttons. The screen on the Canon Selphy CP1300 is adjustable, allowing you to raise it and adjust it so that you have a better angle of view. In contrast, the screen on the Canon Selphy CP1500 is fixed. On the Canon Selphy CP1300, you had buttons to zoom in and out, which were quite helpful, but the Canon Selphy CP1500 does not have these choices. The LCD display on the Canon Selphy CP1500 measures 3.5 inches, whereas the display on the Canon Selphy CP1300 measures 3.2 inches. The Canon Selphy CP1500 is 9.2 inches by 8.7 inches by 4.9 inches, while the Canon Selphy CP1300 measures 5.4 inches by 7.1 inches by 2.5 inches. I hope this helps, FunFractals

Q: QuestionHow many pictures can this print in an hour?
Asked by Photobooth.
- A:Answer At the end of this video, it shows the print speed of the CP 1300 and CP 1500. It is said they take about 30 seconds to print one page. But the CP1500 is noticeably faster than the older version. You still have to factor in swapping empty ribbons for new ones and refilling the paper when it runs out. That boils down to how fast you are at doing that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQm4N-uXGWA&t=2s I hope this helps, FunFractals
