• A:Answer This does NOT have ink cartridges. Instead this has a Dye sublimation process that uses a cartridge with a roll inside with different colors. (Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, & Transparent sheets). Unlike regular ink printers, this printer passes the paper 4 times which applies each color on top one by one until you get a fully print image. A specific type of paper and cartridge is required for this printer to work, but the results are really good. No smudges and photos last a long time compared to traditional ink printers.

• A:Answer You can download the app and definitely use it on different devices, However, if you want to print from each device simultaneously, you do need to connect the printer via a 2.4ghz wifi connection. That way you can use both app or no app to print. If you use a direct connection to the printer, you'd have to go through the connection process each time you use a different device. Wifi sounds like your best option.

• A:Answer Nope, I've tried that and you get an error stating the USB connection is unsupported. You can use the USB to connect a camera, or maybe a computer but that's pretty much it I believe. No iPhone or iPad USB connectivity, it must be done via wifi or bluetooth connection.

• A:Answer At the end of this video, it shows the print speed of the CP 1300 and CP 1500. It is said they take about 30 seconds to print one page. But the CP1500 is noticeably faster than the older version. You still have to factor in swapping empty ribbons for new ones and refilling the paper when it runs out. • A:Answer According to the specs information it can print from USB Flash Drive, USB Type-C cable, full size SD memory cards up to SDXC, mini and micro SD cards with appropriate adapters for the two sizes. You can use Wi-Fi if you want to, but it is not required. You can also print from your Windows, Android, Apple PCs in a variety of computer shapes. Such as desktops/towers, tablets, smartphone (not Windows Phone). You may need an OTG (On The Go) adapter for your smartphone to connect a USB 2.0 speed cable to this printer from your smartphone or tablet.
