“Does this video camera focus nice and fast while filming? I have a Nikon D90, and that is great for taking photos, but taking videos with it is totally opposite! I take videos of animals quite often, so does it focus while filming?”

It does focus quickly. I shoot amateur videos of dogs at an animal shelter while they are romping about, playing fetch and running in circles. The focus adjusts very quickly even when they run right at me.
