• It is a small kettle. It heats water to boiling and then turns it's self off. We use it to make tea (in a teapot) and coffee (in a jug)

You don't have to go as in depth to make your coffee as this person (don't have to buy a Chemex, I simply have a metal Marvellissimo coffee dripper I set over my mug), but this kettle allows you to get the perfect temp for your water and be able to pour the right amount over your coffee grinds in a circular motion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFIRIsG7c4w

• This is for a pour over coffee maker. You make hot water, then pour it over the coffee grounds which sit in a filter. I have a Chemex. Google a picture of the Chemex and you get the idea. Even better, go to You Tube and watch the process. The gooseneck shape makes for a neater pour. Less spill. I plan on getting a gooseneck, when my kettle goes out,
