Carlock draws power directly from your car’s battery, so there’s no need to charge the tracker and Carlock will always stay powered while connected. Even if your car is idle for weeks at a time, Carlock uses different power-saving modes, so it will not deplete the battery. Carlock also actively monitors your vehicle’s electrical system and alerts you immediately if the battery level becomes low or if there is any unusual drain, so you will be notified right away if something is affecting your car’s battery. Kind regards, Meg – Carlock Team.
