QuestionCan you tell me what material the portafilter is made from or if there are any plastic parts on the portafilter? thank you.

- Answer The mfr says the portafilter is stainless steel. There may be plastic in the handle (not in the brew flow). One user ran their portafilter through the dishwasher which severely discolored it. I think that is to be expected and to avoid putting any such parts in the DW.
