I personally prefer the 3XL due to the fingerprint sensor vs the facial recognition the 4XL uses. Not all apps support facial as a biometric option. As to this case, I have the case in 3 different colors and like it. This is a minimalistic case that adds some protection, but doesn't work as well with all screen protectors.
