The case does not cover the camera lens. It is completely open. You would need something else to protect the camera lenses.

Yes it protects the camera, there is a ridge that extends past the camera so it is protected.

Hello. The case does not cover the camera lens. I bought the zag lense covers and they work great for protecting the lense
