Does this calculator need a battery? null

This is solar powered with a battery back-up for dim lighting use. There is no need to buy a battery, the battery is inside the unit.

The unit comes with a battery installed. While there's a screw on the back, it does not look like you're intended to change the battery. Should you decide to do that regardless, it says on the back it takes an LR54 button cell.

Battery is included and the calculator is operational right out of the box. I do not see a place for a replacement battery.

No, its solar and has s built in battery. It works perfectly!

It comes with a battery. However, the battery should last a long time, perhaps 1 - 2 years, if you don't do a lot of work in a dark room .
