• You can purchase a separate power bank but out of the box you will need 8 AA batteries.

• The Nexstar 4se can be powered with 8 internal AA alkaline batteries. It can also be powered with a 120V wall adapter, a Celestron Powertank telescope battery, or a car battery adapter that plugs into a 12V cigarette lighter socket. The external power cables are optional accessories.
