Yes, the NexStar 4SE can go-to and track objects. The tripod needs to be level, and the time, date, and location must be entered into the hand control. When conducting the telescope alignment, make sure your alignment objects are spread apart in various sections of the sky. It is important to center the alignment object in the eyepiece field of view.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes it does but its not perfect. it will get you close but i find it to be off a couple of degrees everytime i slew to a target and i have to center it. with that being said it still works very nicely. once you learned how to use it this will become a minor issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes it does but it isnt perfect it is usually a degree or 2 off and you can finish lining it up with the laser finderscope. there is a little bit of a learning curve. when you line up the scope and it tells you to turn off the finderscope dont because you will need it still for fine tuning it to your target. this scope is a great buy and it has really nice optics for planetary views and some deep sky objects.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does but you need to align the telescope first. However sometimes its not accurate. Just heads up.
