    • Answer The Starsense autoalign accessory does not need wifi to function. The Starsense module is hard wired to the telescope through an auxiliary port.

  • QuestionCan you see the red spot on Jupiiter?

    • Answer Absolutely! The Evo 6 is capable of showing the Jovian red spot and the rings of Saturn (currently they are tilted edge on and hard to see). The telescope comes with a 38X and a 115X eyepiece. Some viewers may prefer higher power accessory eyepieces for planetary viewing. These are available from Celestron.

    • Answer Yes, once the telescope is properly sky aligned, the Nexstar controls have an option to go to a specific set of celestial coordinates entered into the hand controller.
