• I'm not familiar with Windstream but this modem supports VDSL2/ADSL2+ WAN. If you have a digital line coming in, this should work. If you need to make any changes to the modem it has a nice interface to work with. One of my favorite features is that I have set up my kids devices so that they only have internet access during certain hours. Then the wifi won't work for their phones after the hours I've set up.

• If your ISP is CenturyLink, this will work perfectly with it. Otherwise, you'll want to choose a different product. This modem is designed only for CenturyLink service.
