- Answer Will this work for both my wife and I? - YES Can I lock the MyQ system when I leave my house so it can't be opened until I unlock it? - There is no locking mechanism like that, App will let you close and open the door over internet via phone, and will also tell you the status of the garage door if it is opened or not, there is no additional lock, if you have app and you are logged in you can open/close.

- Answer This will not replace your wall control panel, however, it will operate your door through the myQ application available on Google Play Store or Apple Store. Please make sure your opener was manufactured after 1993 for compatibility.

- Answer The answers to both questions is yes. I too have a built in opener button in my truck, and it is unaffected by the myQ. The door can be opened or closed with a remote, button in a car or truck, wall button, and the myQ app. Regardless how opened or closed the myQ will tell the door's open or closed status.

- Answer Thank you for your inquiry. The battery gets replaced through the door sensor. You will pry it open with a flat head screwdriver, and you'll be able to replace the battery. The battery is a 3V battery (CR2450).

- Answer Each can control up to 2 doors but you can buy additional units to control more doors in a single garage and then just assign different names in the app drop down menu Eg “north 2 doors” and “south 2 doors”
