• You can open or close your door from anywhere you have internet access. I was able to open my door in Ga from Maryland.

• I didn't have a problem opening mine from a different state. AS long as your smart phone or smart device has a signal, and your wifi at your home is on, it should work from anywhere.

• Yes, when using the myQ app you can open/close and monitor you garage door from anywhere. It can be another state or another country. Just as along as your hub is installed correctly and your homes wi-fi connection is working.

• Yes, you'd be able to do that. There is no range limit since it works via the Cloud and your house network.
