Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The garage door opener does not need to have wifi. All you need is wifi in the house, not on the opener or remote itself. This product will use the house wifi and allow you to control the door remotely. I know Chamberlain's website allows you to search compatibility but this product seems to work with most garage door openers. Mine is several years old and I set it up without issue.
